Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist – Systems to provide advanced product support for molecular diagnostics instruments, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues. You will report to the Customer Care Manager Italy/Portugal and work with the Technical Customer Support team in South Europe, primarily remote.

You will travel up to 15% in Europe, engage with customers to collect data, contribute to knowledge base, mentor

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with multiple years of relevant experience in technical support.
• 2–3 years experience in health care / biomedical / handling Medical Devices in the region; knowledge of diagnostic market.
• Proficiency with computer systems and networking (Windows OS, LIS integration, basic networking protocols).
• Familiarity with CRM systems for technical support case management is a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide expert technical support via phone, email, and web for instrumentation systems (hardware, software, connectivity) and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Collect and document detailed information about instrument-related complaints and perform root cause analysis.
• Conduct advanced data analysis and systematic troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Investigate and resolve customer technical issues, prioritizing critical cases to restore system uptime (remote and on-site as needed).
• Share expertise across the team, support knowledge base updates, mentor peers, and assist with training.
