Job summary

DiaSorin seeks a Diagnostics Specialist to deliver after-sales support for its immunodiagnostic and molecular platforms across customer sites. You will manage installation, startup, training, and on-going service, ensuring instrument performance and data integrity.

English proficiency is required; travel within Italy and beyond may be needed. The role offers a base salary with bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in the after-sales field (technical/Application) is required or preferred in lab settings.
• English language proficiency required to follow corporate training and read technical docs.
• Good IT literacy including email and office software; basic connectivity and cybersecurity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, preventive maintenance, electrical checks and HW/SW updates of the instruments as defined by Area Service Managers.
• Installs and tests instruments at customers' premises and handles de-installation per SOP.
• Starts up the entire system and provides post-installation training per SOP.
• Installs new kits and correlates results with changes in installations in support of marketing and sales.
• Analyzes customer determinations and laboratory procedures; flags business risks.
• Manages IT integration of systems (host/middleware, workflows) and data:**.
• Develops demos with Marketing and Sales.
• Keeps the assigned instruments updated and calibrated; manages spare parts.
