Job summary

Axxam is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager for the South Europe region. This remote role requires fluency in English and Italian, a scientific degree, and a strong track record in life sciences sales.

You will cultivate relationships with Biotech and Pharma leaders, drive the sales cycle, and expand the client pipeline across Europe. Reporting to the VP of Business Development - Europe, you will lead strategy, establish Axxam as a partner of choice, and travel up to 50% to customer

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in scientific disciplines required.
5+ years in business development/sales in life sciences.
Fluent English and Italian.
Proven track record of generated business volume.

Responsibilities

Identify new business opportunities and drive the sales process to closure in the assigned geography.
Meet potential clients and visit customers to strengthen relationships and increase sales.
Achieve yearly sales goals within the assigned geography.
Develop knowledge of Axxam services and platforms to present compelling proposals.
Set up meetings between client decision makers and practice leaders to tailor proposals.
Leverage market and competitor insights to highlight differentiators and value.
Conduct proactive outreach to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Address customer queries promptly and professionally.
Attend conferences and trade shows as required.
