Ecolab is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager Italy (m/f/d) in Life Sciences to drive growth across the Italian pharmaceutical and personal care markets. You will develop strategic sales plans, expand the customer base, and close high-value deals while collaborating with internal stakeholders and attending industry events.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of consultative pharmaceutical sales experience, fluency in English, and strong relationship skills, with willingness to travel

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Biology, Microbiology, Science or related field.
• 10+ years of sales experience in cleanroom solutions to pharmaceutical manufacturers using a consultative sales approach.
• Willingness to travel within Italy.
• Preferred location: Lombardy or Tuscany.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong interpersonal, intercultural & relationship skills.
• Analytical skills with a proactive hands-on approach.
• Project management, organizational and planning skills.

Mansioni

• Drive new customer acquisition with a hunter approach to expand our market presence in pharmaceutical industries.
• Manage significant deal volume and target account pipelines.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans, targeting prioritized opportunities.
• Respond to inbound lead generation, leverage sales experience and skills to close new accounts.
• Leverage knowledge of Italy pharmaceutical industry and sales experience to establish credibility with current and prospective customers, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and competitors.
• Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to inform management's strategic decision-making, and to reflect appropriate management of the territory and sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to win new business.
• Actively participate in strategic industry seminars, trade shows and conferences to establish new contacts, generate leads and stay informed about pharmaceutical industry developments.
