Job summary

AspenTech is seeking a Principal Solution Consultant in Europe, based in Italy or France with remote options. You will partner with sales and clients to translate business needs into AspenTech solutions, demonstrate value, and drive pipeline and closures across process industries.

With 8–10 years in engineering/consulting and strong experience in manufacturing supply chains, you will influence decision makers and shape technical sales engagements remotely across Europe.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 8–10 years in consulting/tech/industry.
• 5–7 years in Manufacturing Supply Chain roles (Planning, Scheduling, Blending).
• Strong business acumen and communication; able to interview customers and articulate value.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted advisor to identify customer pains and business issues.
• Articulate solution value and align with customer needs and tech requirements.
• Lead customer consulting engagements: demos, workshops, value assessments, seminars.
• Develop commercial proposals and respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Support pipeline development and sales execution for assigned accounts.
• Achieve personal targets like productivity and bookings.
• Challenge customers to improve business performance.
