Job summary

AspenTech, a leader in process manufacturing software, is seeking a Principal Solution Consultant based in Europe. You will support the sales process with product knowledge, industry expertise, and client relationships, building a solid business case for investments.

You will work with the sales team and clients to understand challenges, articulate value, and develop solutions using AspenTech portfolio. Strong communication and executive engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering with 8–10 years of practical experience in consulting/industry.
• 5–7 years in Manufacturing Supply Chain roles (planning, scheduling, blending).
• Strong business acumen; capable of interviewing customers and articulating value.
• Passion for cutting-edge tech with curiosity to learn new skills.
• Team player with client management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor and identify client pains, communicating value and process improvements.
• Articulate the solution and business impact to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with account team to define strategy and present AspenTech value propositions.
• Lead client engagements such as workshops, demonstrations, and value assessments.
• Develop commercial proposals and respond to RFIs/RFPs with clear business cases.
• Aim to achieve personal targets in productivity and bookings.
