IOM is seeking a Human Resources Associate to support HR delivery in Italy and Malta, under the HR Coordinator and Resources Management Officer. The role focuses on timely, accurate, and compliant HR processes, recruitment support, pre-employment activities, and HR data management.

Responsibilities include drafting vacancy notices, screening applications, coordinating induction, maintaining HR records, processing personnel actions, and producing reports.

Competenze

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in human resources management, personnel administration, maintaining HR records, and working with HR information systems or ERP systems.
• Prior experience in international humanitarian organizations or similar institutions in a multicultural setting is advantageous.

• Coordinate recruitment processes: draft vacancy notices, screen applications, prepare job offers.
• Support pre-employment activities: entry-on-duty documents and induction sessions.
• Maintain accurate HR system data and verify entitlements.
• Prepare documentation for personnel actions: separations and promotions.
• Coordinate with regional and HQ HR departments.
• Prepare personnel reports, draft correspondence, and manage files/archiving.
