The role involves supporting pre-employment activities like preparing entry-on-duty documentation and coordinating induction sessions. Maintaining accurate HR system data, verifying entitlements, and managing contractual situations are also core duties. The associate will prepare documentation for various personnel actions, including separations and promotions, and coordinate with regional and headquarters HR departments. Additionally, responsibilities encompass preparing personnel reports, drafting correspondence, maintaining personnel files, and managing HR document archiving. The role also supports the performance evaluation process, provides information on entitlements to staff, and identifies opportunities for HR process improvements.
Required experience includes proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience in human resources management, personnel administration, maintaining HR records, and working with HR information systems or ERP systems is essential. Prior experience in international humanitarian organizations or similar institutions in a multicultural setting is advantageous.
