Job summary

Deel is seeking a hands-on Payroll Implementation Lead to drive end-to-end deployment and data migration for our global payroll clients. You will own onboarding, define payroll processes, configure systems, and ensure a smooth go-live with strong client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects with onboarding teams and clients, creating and maintaining project plans for successful rollouts.
• Manage client and internal project reviews, adjust scope and delivery timelines as needed.
• Define payroll processes and data requirements, manage client payroll calendars.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans and status reports.
• Configure interfaces, reports, and system settings for parallel and live payroll in initial months.
• Lead go-live, sign-off, and client-specific process validation with documentation and reporting.
• Communicate as primary payroll project contact; escalations and decisions for client success.
