Deel is seeking a founding product leader to own the payroll, HR, and time-tracking strategy for Italy. You will lead an engineering team, align cross-functional efforts, and design solutions tailored to Italy’s regulatory landscape.

• Pragmatism and systems thinking to connect payroll, HR, time tracking and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Define the product strategy for the Italian market across payroll, HR, time, and services.
• Lead an engineering team to execute the roadmap.
• Coordinate dependencies across Product (payroll engine), Time, HRIS, and Services teams.
• Break complex requirements into iterative increments and ship fast.
• Own relationships with key accounts and validate solutions with customers.
• Collaborate with sales, implementation, and local compliance teams to enable scalable solutions.
• Think entrepreneurially to build a market entry playbook from scratch.
• Leverage AI to accelerate build and ensure regulatory compliance in collaboration with local teams.
• Master Italian labor law (CCNL, INPS, regional variations) to ensure compliant solutions.
• Position Italy as the anchor market for Deel’s Southern Europe expansion.
