Deel is seeking a Payroll Expert to own end-to-end payroll execution for specific countries or regions. You will develop deep expertise in local payroll regulations, systems implementation, and vendor management to support compliant payroll across markets.

The role requires strong English skills, 5+ years in payroll/HR, and experience with local payroll software. Deel offers remote work, international exposure, and a competitive rewards package.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll and HR experience with experience in relevant country.
• Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Interpersonal skills to explain complex issues clearly.
• Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong proficiency in English.
• Experience managing external payroll providers is an advantage.

Mansioni

• Evaluate and select relevant payroll software aligned with Deel requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution in your region and other trained countries.
• Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports ensuring local tax compliance.
• Own key local payroll and HR processes for your region (on/offboarding, deductions).
• Coordinate payroll expense collections and reconcile with expenses.
• Assess and improve growth-related processes while maintaining compliance.
• Stay informed on local regulatory changes and share updates across teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on local payroll and HR matters.
• Answer complex payroll and HR questions from employees and clients.
