Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an English-to-French Linguist for Life Sciences based in Italy. This remote freelance role focuses on translating and reviewing clinical research, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance documents with MTPE and QA across SmPCs, PILs, PSURs, and DSURs.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in life sciences translation, strong English-French skills, and familiarity with XTM or Phrase CAT tools. A license will be provided. Remote work with strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of practical translation experience in life sciences, clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, and medical documentation.
• Native-level French (France) proficiency with strong English skills.
• Familiarity with CAT tools, particularly XTM or Phrase (license provided).
• Experience using Microsoft Word Track Changes for translation review and editing.
• Strong life sciences terminology knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to complete a translation assessment during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Translate and review life sciences content from English to French (France).
• Perform MTPE on machine-translated safety/medical content.
• Edit and ensure terminology consistency and readability.
• Work on clinical research, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance documents (e.g., SmPC, PIL, PSUR, DSUR, RMP).
• Meet strict deadlines using client CAT tools and Track Changes.
