Job summary

TechTree is recruiting a Business Development Lead to open and own a new market for an AI video intelligence company in Italy. The role is remote within Italy and targets public sector bodies and large private operators, leveraging existing relationships for rapid progress.

You are based in Italy (Milan or Rome preferred) with a proven BD track record, fluent Italian and English, and familiarity with public procurement.

Qualifications

• A proven BD/sales track record in Italy.
• Native or fluent Italian and fluent English.
• Familiarity with Italian public procurement and public-sector buyers.
• Based in Milan or Rome preferred; elsewhere in Italy also considered.
• Self-starting, fast-moving, and comfortable selling into security, defence or public-sector buyers.

Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and close BD opportunities with public sector bodies and large private operators across Italy
• Build and activate a trusted network of decision-makers - municipalities, government/defence-adjacent entities, transport, logistics and security operators
• Move fast from first contact to signed agreement, leveraging relationships you already have
• Act as the primary local point of contact, coordinating with leadership on deal strategy and occasional in-person visits
