Job summary

Edmund Optics Ltd. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager – South Europe (f/m/d) for Italy. The role covers Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece, with travel to customers, trade shows and company sites across Europe.

You will lead sales from prospecting through quoting, coordinating with Inside Sales, Engineering and Business Development teams. The successful candidate will have a university degree in optics or economics, 5+ years in the South European optics market, fluent Italian and English

Qualifications

University degree in optics-related field or economics is required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in South European optics/photonics industry.
Fluency in Italian and English; Spanish a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM and SAP.

Responsibilities

Support and expand existing and potential key account customers in South Europe (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece).
Present the company and our products/solutions and develop business relationships.
Identify customers’ needs and opportunities for cooperation.
Develop and map customer relationships with key decision makers.
Create, negotiate and close quotations.
Serve as main contact between key clients and internal teams.
Identify trends and target markets and collaborate on localized strategies.
Represent Edmund Optics at local trade shows and conferences.
Maintain opportunities pipeline and provide forecasts.
