Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking an on-site clinical and sales-focused professional in Italy to train optometrists and surgeons, organize proctoring, and drive adoption of products. You will support lens calculations, train distributors, and coordinate educational days across defined clinics, contributing to region-wide sales targets.

The role requires 2-3 years in optometry and 1-2 years in ophthalmology, with fluency in Italian and English.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Conducts on-site training and product presentation for optometrists, opticians, MDs and local application specialists.
• Organize surgeons’ proctoring activities for surgeons’ certification.
• Support surgeons and distributors/agents for lens calculation and verification activities.
• Train and/or retrain distributors, agents or sales force in approved products/accessories.
• Train or speak at educational days at defined clinics.
• Disseminate key marketing and clinical messages to improve adoption and drive volume.
• Identify potential sites and customers.
• Conduct site visits including site certification and initiation; write reports to Area Manager.
• Introduce new products and innovations.
• Monitor progress of assigned sites via contact with KOLs and site staff.
• Coordinate with Area Manager Italy to meet yearly territory objectives.
• Support field marketing and promotional actions.
• Support Practice Management programs at clients in coordination with distributor.
• Manage sales/accounts in a specific Area to drive growth and achieve targets.
