Edmund Optics is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for South Europe, based in Italy with a home-office setup. The role entails leading sales across Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece, building key accounts, and driving growth through cross-functional collaboration with Inside Sales, Engineering and Marketing.

The candidate should bring a minimum of 5 years in the optics/photonics field, strong English/Italian language skills, and proven sales success in the region. Travel will be frequent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in South European optics/photonics sales.
• Fluency in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in outside sales and market knowledge.
• Proficient with CRM, SAP and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Support and expand existing and potential new key account customers in South Europe (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece).
• Present Edmund Optics and our products; develop business relationships.
• Identify customers’ needs and potential for co-operations.
• Progress and map customer relationships with key decision makers.
• Create, negotiate and close quotations; main contact between clients and internal teams.
• Represent Edmund Optics at local trade shows and conferences.
• Document opportunities pipeline and forecasts; report accordingly.
• Coordinate with R&D, production, application, marketing and sales.
• Manage inside sales opportunities and RFQs when needed.
