Saipem in Italy is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead bid planning and execution for complex energy & infrastructure projects, coordinating engineering, procurement, and legal teams to deliver competitive proposals.

You will develop complete proposals for various contracts, assess risks, negotiate with clients and partners, and travel abroad as required, with a hybrid work model and a comprehensive benefits package.

Competenze

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, renewable or floaters sectors.
• Open-minded and able to work in a flexible, agile manner.
• Communication and relational skills.
• Organization and prioritization skills.
• Preferably 2+ years in Operations and Maintenance (O&M).

Mansioni

• Coordinate and manage the bidding project team (engineering, procurement, construction and staff functions such as legal, fiscal, insurance, finance).
• Monitor progress of project phases in line with time, cost and quality objectives.
• Develop complete proposals for projects of any contractual scope (from reimbursable feasibility services to turnkey EPC).
• Analyze contract requirements and conditions with commercial and legal teams.
• Conduct technical/commercial/contractual negotiations with clients, partners and sub-contractors.
• Ensure definition/review of costs estimates prepared by the estimator.
• Prepare assessment of technical, financial, schedule or other risks for proposals.
• Ensure submittal of the Proposal to the Client.

As Proposal Manager, you will respond to the Head of Energy Carriers Tendering Department and be part of the ENCAR.

You will plan, coordinate and control the execution of the proposal, in accordance with the instruction to Bidder requirements and Proposal objectives, within time and cost constraints in observance of Quality procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and management of the bidding project team (engineering, procurement, construction and staff functions such as legal, fiscal, insurance, finance)
• Monitor progress of project phases, in accordance with time, cost and quality objectives
• Development of complete proposals for projects of any contractual scope (from reimbursable feasibility services to turn key EPC lump sum)
• Analyse Contract requirements and conditions in conjuction with commercial and legal functions
• Technical/commercial/contractual negotiations with clients, partners and vendors/sub-contractors
• Ensure definition /review of the costs estimating developed by estimator
• Prepare the assessment of the technical, financial, schedule or any other unusual risks associated with proposals
• Ensure the submittal of the Proposal to the Client

What are we looking for?

Education: Master’s Degree or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or in an Economic field

Experience: minimum 5 years within oil & gas, petrochemical, renewable or floaters sectors

Technical/IT Skills:

• Open minded and willing to work in a flexible and agile manner
• Communication and relational skills
• Organization and prioritization skills
• Preferably 2+ years of work experience in the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) sector
