Job summary

Rosewood Rome is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations during the pre-opening phase, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, staff performance, and profitability. You will report to the Managing Director and work with the ExCom Team to align with brand standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a senior hospitality role.
• Strong understanding of hotel management software and systems.
• Italian language is a must.
• Valid Italian (EU) work permit required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage hotel operations to achieve business goals and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Recruit, train, and supervise department heads and staff.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local authorities.
• Prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Promote the hotel through marketing initiatives and community engagement.
