Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd is seeking a Packaging Project Manager to lead a life sciences project near Rome. You will guide packaging initiatives from concept to implementation, coordinating Engineering, Quality, Validation and Operations to ensure successful execution.

The role requires hands-on experience with bottle and blister packaging, GMP-compliant project delivery, and managing budgets, schedules, and contractors for a six-month initial contract.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering packaging line projects.
• Strong knowledge of bottle and blister packaging operations in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience supporting qualification and validation activities.
• Ability to manage suppliers, contractors, budgets, schedules and risks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and independent delivery in complex settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging projects from concept through implementation for bottle and blister operations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks and key deliverables.
• Coordinate Engineering, Quality, Validation and Operations to ensure success.
• Oversee vendors and contractors during equipment installation, commissioning and qualification.
• Drive packaging improvements including data integrity and production line upgrades.
