Job summary

Chiesi Group in Nerviano, Milan, is seeking an experienced Secondary Packaging Production Supervisor to join a greenfield biologics project. You will help design and start up a new packaging line, and lead day-to-day operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in secondary packaging, strong GMP knowledge, and leadership skills. You will collaborate with MS&T, Engineering, QA, and Validation to establish robust workflows, SOPs, and training.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years experience in secondary packaging manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP, GDP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to process and facility design discussions, ensuring GMP compliance.
• Support layout review, equipment URS definition, and procurement input.
• Participate in FAT/SAT, commissioning and qualification activities for packaging lines.
• Collaborate with MS&T, Engineering, QA and Validation to define workflows.
• Develop SOPs, batch records, training programs.
• Supervise day-to-day secondary packaging operations.
