Job summary

Chiesi Group is seeking a Global Project Manager to coordinate complex nationwide and international projects within Global TechOp&S, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a mechanical/chemical/industrial engineering background, substantial pharma project experience, GMP expertise, and strong leadership in cross‑functional settings. Eligible for annual bonus; Parma office presence expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or Electronic Engineering.
• Extensive pharmaceutical project experience.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and QA principles.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets.
• PMI Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive major and strategic projects (industrial and non-industrial) across the network.
• Develop project goals and align with corporate and local functions.
• Monitor all project phases, manage timelines and budgets, implement corrective actions.
• Lead the project team by defining roles and tracking milestones.
• Define and drive Cost & Time Plan, Resource, Risk, Procurement, Communication Plans, and sustainability assessments.
• Coordinate design phases (design, construction, FAT, installation, SAT) with SMEs.
• Manage sponsor and stakeholder relationships through defined governance.
• Prepare status reports by analyzing trends and information.
• Drive external companies or internal SMEs to develop phases and assess site impacts.
