Job summary

BSP Pharmaceuticals S.p.A. is seeking a senior Materials Management lead to drive strategy, governance, and continuous improvement in a high containment manufacturing setting in Lazio, Italy.

You will oversee availability, coverage, risk management and cross-functional collaboration with Planning, Procurement, Production, Quality and Warehouse to ensure production continuity. The ideal candidate holds an MA degree, 8–10 years in manufacturing, GMP and MRP knowledge, and English working

Qualifications

• MA degree in Management Engineering/Economics or similar.
• 8–10 years in progressively responsible roles within structured manufacturing organisations.
• Knowledge of GMP and MRP.
• English working knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee materials strategy and governance aligned with production plan.
• Ensure availability and production continuity; manage shortages risks.
• Balance stock levels against production needs and obsolescence risk.
• Define and monitor KPIs; drive improvements in efficiency and supplier reliability.
• Coordinate cross-functional processes with Planning, Demand, Procurement, Production, Quality, Warehouse and Master Data.
• Promote development of Materials Management processes and data quality.
