TECEZE in Rome is seeking an L2 IT Support Engineer to provide onsite IT and data center assistance, focusing on Windows environments, basic VMware ESXi tasks, server troubleshooting, and data center operations.

You will work at the client site with local contacts and remote teams to resolve issues, perform cabling checks, and support incident handling. The role requires independent work and clear communication on site.

Competenze

• Experience in L2 IT Support / Data Center Support.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of VMware ESXi and VMware technologies.
• Basic understanding of server infrastructure and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of data center operations and management.
• Basic understanding of network/server cabling and cable tracking.

Mansioni

• Provide onsite L2 IT support and basic server troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot Windows-related issues and perform basic checks.
• Maintain knowledge of VMware ESXi and related tech.
• Troubleshoot when a server or system is down and check connections.
• Perform data center management tasks.
• Handle and track network/server cabling and identify connections.
• Assist with connecting and replacing interfaces.
• Perform basic hardware and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with remote teams and local site contacts for resolution.
• Follow standard troubleshooting procedures and escalate complex issues when required.
