TECEZE is seeking an L2 IT Support Engineer to provide onsite IT and data center support in Rome, Italy. The role focuses on Windows environments, basic VMware/ESXi troubleshooting, and server/data center operations.

You will handle cabling, hardware connectivity, and coordinate with remote teams and site contacts to resolve issues. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Windows systems, data center management, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a customer-site setting.

Competenze

• Experience in L2 IT Support / Data Center Support.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of VMware ESXi and VMware technologies.
• Understanding of server infrastructure and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with data center operations and management.
• Knowledge of network/server cabling and cable tracking.
• Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.

Mansioni

• Provide onsite L2 IT support and basic troubleshooting for servers and IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot Windows-related issues and perform basic system checks.
• Have basic knowledge of VMware ESXi and VMware technologies.
• Perform basic troubleshooting when a server or system is down, including checking connections and interfaces.
• Perform basic data center management activities.
• Handle and track network/server cabling and identify cable connections between equipment.
• Assist with connecting and replacing network/server interfaces as required.
• Perform basic hardware and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with remote teams and local site contacts for issue resolution.
• Follow standard troubleshooting procedures and elevate complex issues when required.
