FAO Credit Union in Rome seeks a Teller to support savings and loan transactions across two currencies and to perform daily end-of-day processing. The post is based at FAO headquarters in Rome as part of the Finance Division.

The incumbent will apply CU rules, assist members with accounts and online services, and liaise on account matters. This fixed-term role requires attention to detail, integrity and teamwork.

Competenze

• Secondary school education is required.
• Two years of relevant experience in finance/budget-related support work.
• Working knowledge of English (proficiency).
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, Internet and office technology equipment.
• Residency: local recruitment with commuting distance to the duty station.

Mansioni

• Process member savings and loan transaction requests.
• Apply CU rules and policies governing loans and savings.
• Assist members with account opening/closures and online services.
• Perform end-of-day and quarterly processing.
• Liaise with members on matters relating to their CU accounts.
• Ensure proper archiving of correspondence and filing of end-of-day reports.
