Job summary

ABB Motion Services is seeking a Service Sales Manager with strong experience in industrial sales and a proven ability to build long-term customer relationships across Italian regions. The role involves driving service upgrades, managing pipelines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver value.

You will travel frequently across Liguria, Emilia and Marche, promoting service contracts, maintenance and spare parts while achieving targets and contributing to ABB's growth in motion

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in industrial environments or automation.
• Availability for frequent business travel across Liguria, Emilia and Marche regions.
• Strong ability to establish customer relationships and foster long-term partnerships.
• Applies structured sales methodologies, managing pipeline, forecasts, and targets.

Responsibilities

• Penetrating the Installed Base by promoting upgrades, retrofits and value-added solutions.
• Generating service sales leads and developing new business opportunities through market analysis and customer engagement.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with End User customers.
• Preparing, reviewing, and executing sales plans, including proposing recovery actions when needed.
• Applying channel strategies and supporting pricing definition.
• Promoting ABB's Service portfolio during campaigns, meetings and conferences.
• Ensuring prompt and effective response to customer needs and issues.
