Obsidian is seeking detail-oriented Malayalam annotators to build high-quality document structure maps from real Malayalam pages. You will identify and bound all meaningful regions, assign types and reading orders, and produce faithful, character-accurate transcriptions of Malayalam text.

Applicants should be native Malayalam speakers with experience in annotation, transcription, localization, proofreading, or related language data work.

• Open and check a task: ensure Malayalam page content and legibility before annotating.
• Annotate structure: bound every meaningful region and assign type and reading order.
• Record relationships: link regions to parent figure/table identifiers.
• Transcribe faithfully: reproduce Malayalam text exactly, flag illegible content.
• Capture page metadata: language, document type, source, dimensions, and handwriting flags.
