Obsidian is seeking native Malayalam annotators to structure and transcribe pages with exact Malayalam script, including difficult handwritten content. You will mark all meaningful regions, assign reading order, and ensure precise transcription across diverse document types.

The role emphasizes rigorous quality and cross-checks with a second Malayalam expert, with tasks drawn from newspapers, forms, menus, and textbooks to build robust Malayalam datasets for AI models.

Competenze

• Native Malayalam speaker with full command of the script and orthography.
• Experience in annotation, transcription, localization, proofreading or regional-language data review.
• Must demonstrate extremely high accuracy and avoid diacritic errors.
• Apply a consistent taxonomy across hundreds of pages.
• Comfortable handling unfamiliar layouts like multi-column documents.
