Job summary

Relais & Châteaux Castel Fragsburg, a 5-star hotel perched above Merano, seeks an enthusiastic and idealistic professional for the upcoming season starting from April 2027. The role focuses on leading and training the service team, coordinating daily work, and ensuring flawless dining room operations across lunch and dinner.

The candidate will bring fluent German, English and Italian, plus wine knowledge, and a proven track record of at least three years in the same role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and train the service team.
• Plan and coordinate daily work; supervise accounting management.
• Supervise mise-en-place of the tables and the service (lunch/dinner).
• Participate in the work and responsibilities of the dining room team.
• Record orders, take care of the guest and pay attention to details.
• Support the needs of the hotel in breakfast and room service.
• Supervise the preparation of the room for all services requested.

The Relais & Châteaux Castel Fragsburg is sat atop a mountain ledge overlooking Merano in South Tyrol, Italy. We are looking for an enthusiast, idealist and go-getter for the next season starting from April 2027.

Inside the restaurant she/he is responsible for:

• leading, motivating and training the service team
• plan and coordinate daily work, supervise accounting management
• to supervise the mise-en-place of the tables and the service (lunch / dinner)
• to participate in the work and responsibilities of the dining room team
• to record orders, take care of the guest and pay attention to details
• to support the needs of the hotel in breakfast and room service
• to supervise the preparation of the room for all the services requested

• Excellent knowledge of German, English and Italian.
• A good knowledge of wines
• At least three years of experience in the same role
• Communication and management skills, customer orientation and teamwork complete the profile
