Job summary

SAN SONNEA is seeking a warm and professional Chef de Rang to elevate Fine Dining experiences at a new luxury resort in the Dolomites. You will lead a service station, guide teammates, and collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and management to shape service standards.

The ideal candidate has substantial experience in upscale hospitality, excellent English, and a passion for guest-centric service. Enjoy a long-term, full-time role with staff accommodation and meals provided.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as Chef de Rang or in a comparable position within upscale hospitality or gastronomy.
• Very good knowledge of À-la-carte and Gourmet service.
• In-depth knowledge of food and beverages, ideally including wine service.
• Strong quality awareness and attention to detail.
• Independent, structured and reliable working style.
• Well-groomed appearance, positive attitude and professional communication skills.
• Team spirit, flexibility and enthusiasm for working in an international environment.
• Very good command of English; German or Italian is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a service station and provide personalised attention to our guests throughout their restaurant experience.
• Provide professional and personalised advice on our menus, dishes and beverages.
• Ensure attentive and professional Fine Dining service.
• Serve food and beverages professionally in accordance with our quality and service standards.
• Prepare and oversee your own station and ensure a perfect mise en place.
• Anticipate and fulfil individual guest wishes and contribute to special occasions and culinary experiences.
• Guide and support the Commis de Rang within your station.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth service operations.
• Handle high-quality products, materials and equipment responsibly.
• Comply with our hygiene, quality and safety standards.
• Work closely with the Maître, Assistant Maître / Sommelier and the entire restaurant team.
