Job summary

Collegio alla Querce, Auberge Collection in Florence is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for seasonal full-time employment. You will lead the housekeeping team to uphold exceptional cleanliness and presentation across rooms and public areas, coordinating with Front Office and other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

The role requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience in luxury hospitality, strong leadership and organizational skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team while maintaining high standards of service.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, in accordance with departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the Housekeeping team in the daily execution of their responsibilities.
• Assign daily tasks and room allocations, ensuring priorities are clearly communicated.
• Support onboarding and development of new team members, sharing best practices and encouraging continuous improvement.
• Promote a positive team culture built on respect, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance meet standards.
• Verify room readiness and coordinate priorities with Front Office for smooth arrivals and departures.
• Ensure amenities, linen, supplies, and in-room details are presented accurately and consistently.
• Identify and report maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping activities and maintain clear communication with related departments.
• Monitor supplies, linen, and equipment usage; manage lost and found according to procedures.
• Ensure compliance with cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and health and safety requirements.
