Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas offers a F&B Intern position in Italy, supporting the restaurant team by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring excellent guest experiences through luxury service.

You will learn through close collaboration with experienced colleagues, build knowledge of menu offerings, reservations, and guest preferences, while developing keen service skills in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in hospitality/F&B.
• Fluency in local language; knowledge of English valuable.
• Experience with MS Office and POS systems.
• Customer service focus.
• Active listening and effective communication.
• Detail-oriented and sales-driven.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service that promote satisfaction.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Maintain direct contact with guests during breakfast, lunch, dinner and events.
• Demonstrate knowledge of frequent guests and their preferences.
• Be aware of and promote hotel restaurant products and services.
• Review daily specials and liaise with F&B team.
• Handle restaurant reservations and communicate with kitchen staff.
• Set up/clean tables in restaurant and meeting rooms.
• Process payments using POS and upsell where possible.
• Maintain cleanliness of F&B outlets and follow health guidelines.
