Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Limited in Milan is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead groups, events, and operations within the prestigious Events Department. You will report to the Hotel Manager and drive luxury service, site visits, and tailored proposals for high-profile guests, while coordinating with culinary and banqueting teams.

This role demands 5+ years in luxury hotels, fluent English and Italian, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in groups, events, catering or conference services in luxury hotels.
• Fluency in English and Italian is required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support groups and events sales and operations within the Events Department.
• Conduct site visits and ensure luxury service standards.
• Lead weekly group/event meetings with the team and other departments.
• Produce Banquet Event Orders and client communications.
• Maintain a trace system and ensure data accuracy per MO policies.
• Coordinate vendor contracts and obtain required approvals.
• Develop Sales Team training based on performance.
