Job summary

InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace, part of Italian Hospitality Collection, is seeking a charismatic Doorman to greet guests and be the first hotel image. You will assist guests with luggage, coordinate valet parking, open doors, and help with taxi requests while upholding discretion and exceptional service.

One year of luxury hotel Doorman experience is required; fluent Italian and English are essential, and a B driving licence is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Doorman experience in luxury hotels.
Fluent Italian and English; third language a plus.
Valid Italian B driving licence.

Responsibilities

Greeting and welcoming guests and visitors to the hotel.
Bidding farewell guests on departure, wishing them a pleasant journey ahead.
Relieving guests of their luggage on arrival and liaising with luggage porters.
Coordinating valet parking service and receiving guest cars from third-party provider.
Opening doors for guests arrival and departure and assisting seniors, guests with disabilities, children, pregnant women and people carrying heavy loads.
Handling guest requests and queries in a courteous and prompt manner.
Introducing guests by name to reception team members to proceed with check-in.
Assisting guests with taxi requests.
Ensuring the hotel forecourt is clean and entrances are unobstructed.
Be the first promoter of hotel services and F&B outlets.
Reporting to Head Concierge.
