Avio Aero in Italy is seeking a Mechanical Production Cell Leader to guide the manufacturing cell toward on-time deliveries for nozzle and rotor blade programs, while elevating quality and EHS standards. You will drive Daily Shop Management with Lean problem solving, lead Lean transformation of the value stream, and own initiatives for profit, productivity, safety, and quality.

The role requires Master’s in Engineering, extensive Lean and Six Sigma know-how, and fluency in Italian and English;

Competenze

• Master's Degree in Engineering with proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering and/or Material and/or Lean.
• Machining knowledge and processes applicable to aeronautic components.
• Manufacturing management concepts: production and inventory control, standard cost systems.
• Lean Six Sigma methodologies knowledge.
• GE policies/regulations and government/customer requirements.
• Aviation rules, products and processes knowledge.
• Ability to develop and motivate a high-involvement team.
• Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Work Visa, per local regulation, is required.

Mansioni

• Lead the rate increase and linearity of Mechanical Production Area ensuring deliveries on time
• Lead the Daily Shop Management of production area thru the problem solving methodologies, managing priorities and parts/products with high customer impact
• Lead Lean Transformation of VS, working on Flow optimization and pull system, driving and foster Lean culture across the team
• Own the responsibilities for achieving business profit, productivity, safety, and quality goals
• Direct process/product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization
• Lead the team to achieve goals in asset utilization, process/manufacturing loss improvement, delivered quality and cost reduction
• Interface with other organizations and vendors to assure requirements are met on time
• Provide ongoing supervision and counseling for employees, guiding them in current positions and assisting with career development and training
• Facilitate the leadership team in decision‑making and problem solving and provide effective communication across the plant
• Develop and track sales, expense, inventory, and investment budgets with the input of each organization
• Provide leadership in the areas of staff selection, training and development, facility planning and construction, process, and procedure implementation
