Job summary

Avio Aero in Brindisi, Italy seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead Production Control activities, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and execution in alignment with business objectives. You will drive SQDC performance while partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure reliable execution and strong customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Master’s degree or equivalent experience, significant production control expertise, and fluency

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant experience in production control and planning.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, material management, and execution control.
• Fluency in Italian and English; work authorization per local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Production Control team in daily planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Ensure plans align with customer demand, capacity, constraints, and materials.
• Monitor on-time delivery, backlog, past due orders, and plan adherence.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Quality, and Engineering to remove constraints.
• Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP and drive Lean/FLIGHT DECK improvements.
• Foster a culture of customer focus, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
