Job summary

Avio Aero is seeking a Mechanical Production Cell Leader to drive the manufacturing cell for Nozzle and Rotor Blades programs, improving quality and EHS. You will lead Daily Shop Management with Lean problem solving and embed Servant Leadership across the team.

You will develop processes, tackle complex issues, participate in long-term planning, and contribute to the business strategy while guiding staff development and cost reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering with proven manufacturing/Lean experience (Manufacturing Engineering and/or Material/Lean).
• Proven knowledge of machining and special processes for aeronautic components.
• Fluency in Italian and English, written and spoken; work visa as required by local regulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rate increase and linearity of the Mechanical Production Area to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Oversee Daily Shop Management using lean problem-solving methodologies.
• Drive Lean Transformation of value streams, optimize flow and pull systems.
• Ensure goals for profit, productivity, safety, and quality are met.
• Direct process and product improvement programs across the organization.
• Develop staff through supervision, coaching, and career development.
• Provide leadership in budgeting, staffing, and facility planning.
