Johnson & Johnson is recruiting an experienced Lead AI Operations Engineer to shape, design, and run a scalable AI platform across Milan, Madrid, and Lisbon. The role combines hands-on AI platform engineering with SRE, DevSecOps, and FinOps practices to deliver reliable, cost-efficient AI solutions.

You will build observability, runbooks, and governance around AI services, enabling safe production use of agents and AI applications across diverse environments.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Platform/SRE/DevOps/DevSecOps/MLOps with responsibility for live services.
• Hands-on capability in Python, APIs, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience operating ML/Generative AI in production and familiarity with AI observability patterns.

Mansioni

• Design end-to-end observability for AI apps and agents, including prompts and model calls.
• Establish telemetry and distributed tracing across workflows and services.
• Define SLOs, error budgets, and production readiness for AI services.
• Engineer reusable pipelines and controls for configuration, versioning, and deployment gates.
• Lead incident analysis and implement preventive automation and improvements.
• Provide reusable runbooks and standards for production operation.
