Waters Corporation in Lombardy, Italy, is seeking a Clinical Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair Waters LC-MS systems in regulated clinical labs. The role is field-based, travel-heavy and requires strong technical and customer-facing skills.

You will work with global teams, receive comprehensive training, and have opportunities to progress within Waters while delivering high-quality diagnostic testing and laboratory operations support.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry, biology, physics, engineering or related discipline.
• Practical experience with complex analytical or laboratory instrumentation.
• Strong technical aptitude to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, fluidic and software issues.
• Experience maintaining, calibrating or troubleshooting analytical instrumentation.
• Experience with LC‑MS instrumentation, preferably Waters systems.
• Willingness to undertake overnight travel and international travel for training.
• Fluent Italian and English at least CEFR B2 level.

• Install, qualify, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair Waters LC-MS systems in regulated clinical laboratory environments.
• Analyze system performance and diagnostic data to identify root causes and determine corrective actions.
• Collaborate with broader technical and support teams to resolve issues and escalate when required.
• Manage customer expectations by clearly communicating work and providing follow-up plans.
• Complete service records and documentation per Waters quality and regulatory procedures.
• Build strong relationships with customers, advising on Waters products and services to improve lab operations.
