Job summary

SimCorp is seeking an IT Support Consultant to join the Technical Enablement team. You will act as a trusted technical partner, helping teams navigate infra, tooling, testing, and configuration issues. You will read and debug code when needed and contribute to reliability of the delivery environment.

This is not a traditional helpdesk role; you will work within a hybrid model, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, high-quality delivery for our financial clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical support, application support, IT operations, software delivery, DevOps, or a similar technical role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis.
• Ownership mindset; drive issues through to resolution with stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of software development and delivery lifecycle.
• Exposure to or willingness to work with CI/CD, DevOps, and Azure DevOps platforms.
• Proficiency with scripting and database fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for infrastructure, tooling, environments, and development processes.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and coordinate resolution of technical issues with cross-functional teams.
• Take ownership from initial investigation through resolution.
• Support and maintain test environments and end-to-end infrastructure.
• Monitor automated test executions and analyze failures to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, business consultants, and product teams to remove blockers.
• Assist business consultants with configuration and DevOps-based development practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and delivery reliability.
