World Food Programme in Rome, Italy is seeking a senior IT solutions lead to shape the beneficiary services agenda within the Technology Division. You will manage a small team to deliver secure, scalable software solutions and to provide recommendations on development or procurement.

You will collaborate with enterprise architecture, product managers, developers and analysts to design and release the SCOPE platform, ensure compliant, high‑quality performance, and contribute to delivery planning,

Competenze

• Advanced degree in computer science or related field required.
• Minimum five years in IT with progressive responsibility.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of a second UN language preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead design, procurement, development, and deployment of IT solutions.
• Guide junior developers and ensure alignment with architecture standards.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and analysts.
• Ensure security, testing, CI/CD, and proper documentation.
