World Food Programme is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Services Team Lead in Rome to guide cloud strategy, architecture, and cost optimization for global cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). You will lead a team of cloud specialists, drive FinOps initiatives, and collaborate with cybersecurity to harden the environment.

The role requires deep cloud expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to translate complex technical needs into business cases for executive approval.

Competenze

• Advanced university degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or related field, or a Bachelor's with two additional years' experience.
• Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience in supporting production applications and/or administering Enterprise IT Services in Cloud/Hybrid environments with distributed 24x7 operations.
• Fluency in English; intermediate knowledge of a second UN official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish, or Portuguese).

Mansioni

• Lead and mentor a team of Cloud Specialists, balancing workload and development.
• Represent the team to Architectural Board for complex IT solutions.
• Lead design of robust, scalable cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Oversee TCO for Cloud/Hybrid environments and define QA metrics.
• Document cloud infrastructure governance, security, performance and resiliency.
• Forecast infrastructure needs and drive FinOps and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity for IAM hardening, encryption, and automated auditing.
