World Food Programme (WFP) in Rome, Italy seeks an IT Network Consultant to design, implement and maintain a resilient enterprise network, voice and video collaboration services. The role focuses on modern Unified Communications, cloud connectivity and SD‑WAN, with a senior, technical lead responsibility across multiple sites and vendor relationships.

Competenze

Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related fields.
Relevant certifications are desirable (e.g., CCNP Enterprise, ITIL 4 Foundation).
Minimum 6 years of enterprise networking, unified communications, voice and video collaboration experience.

Mansioni

Design, implement and maintain resilient WFP enterprise network connectivity.
Optimize network performance across HQ, field and cloud environments.
Provide senior guidance to prevent and mitigate security threats.
Maintain SOPs, standards and roadmaps for LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN, and collaboration tech.
Provide expertise on routing, VPN, QoS, SD‑WAN, cloud connectivity and vendor integration.
Review and implement QoS to improve critical voice and collaboration services.
Integrate telemetry and monitoring data for capacity planning.
Support transition from legacy PBX to modern Unified Communications.
Lead enterprise video conferencing services including Teams Rooms and webcast platforms.
Provide architectural guidance for SIP, SBC, Direct Routing and Teams Phone.
