Job summary

Allianz Technology is seeking an IT Service Manager for Sales Platforms to lead operational excellence across a cloud-native and legacy landscape. You will coordinate internal teams and external providers, ensure service stability, and drive end-to-end transformation aligned with Allianz standards.

The role requires 5+ years in service management within financial services or insurance, strong ITSM and project management skills, and fluency in Italian and English.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in a technical or economic field; at least 5 years as Service Manager or similar.
• Experience in managing and evolving complex IT services, ideally in sales/distribution domains of financial services.
• Knowledge of modern architectures, microservices, cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure).
• Proven project management, Agile and DevOps experience, with focus on budgets and cost efficiency.
• Practical ITSM understanding; ITIL certification desirable.
• Experience in supplier and provider management and cross-functional coordination.
• Familiarity with applying AI in projects and AI-enabled functionalities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, fluent in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Take operational responsibility for the Service Owner's Business Services and IT Service Offerings, ensuring stable operations and continuity.
• Coordinate technical teams and external providers, manage service handover, and align with SLAs and contracts.
• Govern solution designs to ensure cloud/microservices architectures follow guidelines and best practices.
• Manage projects from demand to release, including estimates and budgets, and contribute to service cost planning.
• Apply ITSM principles to improve service delivery and monitor indicators like cost, quality, capacity, and security.
• Analyze live solutions to ensure alignment with strategic goals and evolving needs.
• Address complex problems with cross-functional analysis and innovative approaches.
