Safilo Group, a leading premium eyewear company based in Padova, seeks a dynamic HR Business Partner fluent in German to support the DACH region. You will partner with managers on workforce planning, lifecycle management, and HR initiatives within an international, matrix organization.

The role combines hybrid work from the Padova HQ with periodic travel to Cologne and collaboration with global HR teams. English fluency is mandatory and German language is highly preferable.

Safilo is looking for a dynamic, German speaker, and business-oriented HR Business Partner to join the Human Resources Department in our Padova Headquarters, looking after the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the trusted HR partner for assigned business areas, advising managers on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee development and organizational change.
• Manage and support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development, succession planning, compensation reviews and offboarding activities.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters, HR policies, organizational changes and labor law compliance, ensuring consistency and adherence to company standards.
• Drive annual HR processes and key people initiatives, supporting managers in building high-performing and engaged teams.
• Monitor workforce data, HR metrics and organizational trends, providing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
• Lead or contribute to local and global HR projects focused on organizational development, employee engagement, change management and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with HR Operations and Centers of Excellence to ensure effective delivery of HR services and programs across the organization.
• Periodic travel to Safilo's office in Cologne, Germany, will be required to support business stakeholders and local HR initiatives.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or Talent Acquisition roles within international and matrix organizations.
• Proven experience partnering with managers and business leaders on people-related matters, including organizational development, employee relations, workforce planning and talent management.
• Solid knowledge of HR processes, employee lifecycle management, labor legislation and HR compliance principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret HR data, identify trends and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, combined with a proactive, autonomous and solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluent professional English language is mandatory.
• German language (B1-B2 minimum) is highly preferable .
