Safilo is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join the Accounting team of our Italian Legal Entities at our Padova HQ. You will work closely with Finance, supporting accounting, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will manage monthly closings, support budgeting, prepare journal entries including payroll, reconcile balances, and assist with P&L and balance sheet analysis. Fluent Italian and English are required; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Two years of professional experience in audit firms, consulting firms, or multinational industrial organizations.
• Structured, analytical and results oriented approach.
• Able to work in multinational and cross functional environments.
• Excellent proficiency in Italian and English.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365; SAP is a plus.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join the Accounting team of our Italian Legal Entities at our Headquarters in Padova. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance department, supporting a wide range of accounting, financial, and administrative activities. Key responsibilities will include financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing support during external audit processes. The position reports directly to the Accounting Manager for the Italian Legal Entities.

As Accountant Professional, you will be responsible for:

• Accounting management based on Group Guidelines;
• Supervision of Monthly/Quarterly/Year End Closing;
• Support for Budgeting/Forecasting activities;
• Prepare journal entries (JE) for posting into the general ledger, including payroll entries;
• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts, investigate and resolve variances;
• Support in preparing Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet analytical reports;
• Prepare monthly and annual accruals, providing assistance in the finalization of the annual financials and footnote disclosure;
• Prepare audit support for internal and external auditors.

You are the person we are looking for if:

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• You have at least two years of professional experience gained within audit firms, consulting companies, or multinational industrial organizations.
• You have a structured, analytical and results oriented approach.
• You are able to work in multinational and cross functional environments.
• You have excellent proficiency in Italian and English.
• You have a solid knowledge of Microsoft 365; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
