Safilo is seeking a Business Cost Controller at its Padova headquarters. You will support the Sport Global Channel, partnering with Finance, Sales and Commercial teams across multiple regions. The role offers exposure to international stakeholders and a smart-working environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting/Finance and 2+ years in auditing, consulting, or controlling in multinational settings. Fluency in Italian and English is required; SAP and Tableau are a plus.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in auditing, consulting, or controlling within multinational companies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in multinational and cross-functional environments.
• Fluent in Italian and English; proficient in Microsoft 365; SAP and Tableau are a plus.

• Pricing, Commercial Investments & Cost Control: support pricing, margin analyses, benchmarks across Europe/US/Canada; monitor costs and ROIs.
• Financial Reporting & Business Analysis: prepare monthly reports and dashboards; analyze profitability by market, channel, customer and brand; monitor KPIs and cash flow.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Business Controller to join our Group Controlling Team at our Headquarters in Padova. In this role, you will support the Sport Global Channel, working closely with business partners and field experts across the organization. The position offers exposure to an international environment, with regular interactions with US based stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing, Commercial Investments & Cost Control

• Support pricing and margin analyses, including new product launches and price benchmarking across Europe, the US, and Canada.
• Monitor marketing, selling, and overhead costs against budget and forecast, supporting variance analyses and ROI evaluation of commercial initiatives.
• Provide analytical support to Commercial and Brand teams.

Financial Reporting & Business Analysis

• Prepare monthly management reports and dashboards.
• Support analyses on profitability by market, channel, customer, and brand, as well as key financial and operational KPIs, including costs, cash flow, working capital, and inventory performance.

Closing, Data Quality & Business Partnering

• Support accrual preparation, month-end closing activities, data reconciliation, and reporting accuracy in coordination with Accounting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams, supporting pricing, cost control, and business decision-making.

You are the person we are looking for if you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in auditing, consulting, or controlling within multinational companies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a results‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in multinational and cross functional environments.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365; SAP and Tableau are a plus.
