Job summary

Four Seasons Venice seeks a proactive F&B Reservation Agent for In Room Dining at Hotel Danieli. You will be the first contact for in-room dining requests and guide guests through menu selections while coordinating orders with precision.

You will manage guest needs with warmth and attention to detail, ensure accurate records, and collaborate with Culinary, Stewarding, and Front of House teams to deliver a seamless dining experience. Fluency in Italian and English is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food & Beverage, In Room Dining, or luxury hospitality.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Strong guest engagement and hospitality mindset.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with POS systems, MS Office, and hotel systems.
• Sales-oriented with ability to promote dining experiences.
• Fluent in Italian and English; other languages are a plus.
• Legal right to work in Italy.

Responsibilities

• Handle In Room Dining calls professionally and promptly.
• Provide detailed knowledge of menus, beverages, promotions, and experiences.
• Assist guests with menu selections and dietary requirements with recommendations.
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately with special requests.
• Coordinate with Culinary and In Room Dining teams for timely delivery.
• Monitor order timing and communicate updates to guests.
• Upsell menu items and experiences to boost guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Arrange amenities, celebrations, VIP setups, and customized dining experiences.
• Respond to guest inquiries with empathy and a service recovery mindset.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Guest Experience, Housekeeping, and F&B teams for seamless service.
• Maintain accurate guest preference records and update information accordingly.
• Ensure communications comply with Four Seasons standards.
