We are looking for energetic, curious, and collaborative IB and IGCSE English language and literature teachers for our Middle and high schools starting from the school year 2026/2027!

The Role

We are looking for an outstanding Secondary IB English Teacher to join our growing Secondary school in September 2025. You will have recent experience of teaching English to Middle and High School students in MYP and/or iGCSE as well as to IB Diploma level. We are looking for someone who is passionate about international education, creative in their thinking and collaborative in their approach. The successful candidate will also be adaptable, motivated by challenge and an excellent, highly organised classroom practitioner.

ICS Milan is a highly successful international school in Milan for children from 2-18 and part of the Globeducate school group.

The school adopts a STEAM approach to learning, using Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics as access points for building student enquiry, critical thinking and exploring a child’s creative mind. It gives exposure to project-based learning, hand on experience to learn various fundamental motor skills and help children develop analytical skills required for problem solving.

We offer a stimulating learning journey which is defined by a rich and well-structured curriculum. In Early Years we follow The British Early Years Foundation Stage. In Primary, we follow The Primary School follows the Cambridge Primary Programme, covering English and maths, and The IPC - International Primary Curriculum, covering the topic-based subjects (science, social studies, geography, history, art and international mindedness). We are currently exploring the PYP to complement our IB MYP programme in Years 7-11 and the IB Diploma in Years 12 and 13 (currently candidacy school with view to starting Diploma in September 2023).

As a Paritaria school, we incorporate National recommendations for the curriculum as established by the Italian Ministry of Education for the Italian language and culture programme. All children in the Primary school learn Italian, either as a first or second language and integrating Italian education and culture is a key strength of the school.
