Job summary

Nutanix in Milan is seeking a Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales) to support enterprise accounts in Italy. You will partner with Sales to translate customer challenges into Nutanix-based hybrid multicloud solutions, guiding infrastructure modernization and AI deployment.

You will lead technical engagements across requirements discovery, solution design, and PoCs, communicating the value of cloud-native platforms to executives while operating in a hybrid work model with occasional onsite collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a customer-facing technical pre-sales role for enterprise accounts.
• Experience engaging with C-level and technical leadership to influence architecture decisions.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and data center infrastructure.
• Strong background in cloud transformation, containerization (Kubernetes), and enterprise AI deployment.
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical pre-sales advisor for assigned Enterprise accounts in Italy, partnering with Sales to drive growth.
• Understand customer drivers and translate them into Nutanix-based hybrid cloud, containerization, and AI solutions.
• Lead requirements discovery, solution design, executive presentations, and proposal development.
• Articulate the value and benefits of Nutanix products to technical and executive audiences.
• Design and execute PoCs to validate architecture decisions and support sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with Sales, pre-sales, and customer technical teams, feeding feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
